Metal Scrap
Qavnio Global Corporation supplies quality scrap metals HMS1, HMS2 and R50/R65 scrap rails cut length 1.5 meters (for melting), 6 meters and 12 meters. We also have ISRI grade 201 which is shorter (1m x 0.5m) and at least 6mm thick, which makes it superior to HMS grade.
Scrap Metal HMS1 & HMS2
HMS is 'Heavy Melting Scrap'. It is the generic term for most types of heavy steel scrap, normally cut to a size not exceeding 1.5m x 0.5m. It may and will consist of cut lengths of pipe, re-bar, angles, steel poles, H or I beams, ships plate.
HMS1 is a heavier scrap which has density of at least 0.7 tons per cubic meter, doesn’t have galvanized and blackened steel.
HSM2 is a lighter steel comprised of thin wall tubing commonly used for bicycle frames and sheet scrap less than 3.2mm thick. HMS 2 may contain galvanized and blackened steel.
